Pamela,
Last week was tough. After nearly a decade of fighting Trump and Trumpism, an exhausting election cycle, and the heartbreak of coming up short, it would be understandable if people felt like giving up. But that's not the response we've been getting.
In replies to our emails, on social media, and in comments on our Zoom calls and livestreams, the vast majority of folks are telling us they're ready to get to work. And that's exactly what we're doing.
- On Tuesday, we drove thousands of calls and helped derail H.R. 9495, a bill that would give the incoming Trump administration unchecked power to target non-profit organizations for political reasons.
- On Wednesday, we launched our new Indivisible Guide on a call joined by Senator Elizabeth Warren and 50,000 activists including both longstanding Indivisible members and brand new ones.
- On Friday, we put out our new toolkit to pressure Senate Democrats to confirm as many pro-democracy federal judges as possible while they still hold the majority.
On Monday, we'll have more actions for you to take, more ways to prepare for an incoming Trump administration, and more opportunities to start putting our new guide into action. But we want to round out the week with this last ask:
Please pitch in to fund our work and help us support local Indivisible groups across the country. Whether it’s putting out a new toolkit, driving calls to Congress, reimbursing local groups for supplies, or writing and implementing a new guide, we count on grassroots donations to help fund all of our work. And that work has never been more important than it is right now.

We’re asking you to donate today because, contrary to popular belief, the work of defying Trump doesn't start on inauguration day -- it starts right now. After our call on Wednesday, there was a surge of traffic on our group map page of people trying to find groups to join in their area. We're seeing thousands of people interested in joining or starting an Indivisible group on their home turf. And just one week after the election, local activists are already planning hundreds of community gatherings to strategize for what comes next.
Indivisible was founded to support this organic local activism. Because it's local organizing that makes our members of Congress think twice before backing the most horrific elements of the Trump agenda. It's local organizing that fuels the media narrative around backlash to MAGA overreach. It's local organizing that leads school boards, city councils, and state legislatures to protect vulnerable communities, defy unconstitutional orders, and fight back against the fascist takeover of America.
We won’t sugarcoat it: The next four years are going to be hard. We’ve got a lot of fights ahead of us. And that means our groups will need our support like never before.
So, if you share our belief that grassroots organizing is key to defending our democracy, please click here to pitch in and ensure our groups have the tools and resources they need to carry out this work.

Whatever actions you took this week -- whether it was joining one of our calls, calling your Senators, donating, or all of the above -- we’re incredibly grateful for your support and proud to be in this fight with you.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
