Our movement of activists fighting for our democracy spans the country, but here’s a little-known fact that we are particularly proud of: Indivisible has one of the largest rural footprints of any national grassroots network, with rural groups and members in all 50 states. 

When we say we believe in organizing everywhere, we mean it -- especially in communities that are on the frontlines of some of the biggest battles we face. From attacks on clean air and water, to waging culture wars in local schools, rural areas and so-called "red states" have become testing grounds for MAGA extremism. There are tireless activists like you mobilizing locally to beat back their radical agenda, but your work often goes unrecognized and unsupported by those who have written off these areas as simply unwinnable. 

We refuse to leave rural communities behind. That’s why we launched the Rural Caucus, a home for Indivisible groups and activists committed to long-term organizing in rural and red areas. Whether you've been organizing for decades or are brand new to this work, the Rural Caucus provides space for members to connect with one another, engage in rural activism, and celebrate rural resistance and powerbuilding.

We’re kicking off our plans for the year ahead on Wednesday, February 26 at 8pm Eastern Time/5pm Pacific Time with Indivisible Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director Ezra Levin -- register now to join us for our inaugural meeting of 2025 and learn how you can take the fight against Trump, Musk, and MAGA to your own backyard. 

Our monthly calls are opportunities for rural Indivisibles and organizers all over the country to join together to troubleshoot problems and celebrate successes. Each month, our team provides rural-specific information and trainings to benefit rural advocacy. 

We’re focused on empowering our members to take action, but we’re also here to create a welcoming space for those feeling isolated from fellow Indivisibles in red and rural areas. We know it can feel like you’re waging these fights on your own -- and our growing membership is proof that that is not true. We’re here to bring folks into a thriving community and show that together, we have numbers and we have power.
