Indivisibles,
Two weeks ago, we launched billboards in six communities warning residents that ICE was planning or constructing immigrant warehouse detention sites in their area. Since they’ve gone up, they’ve helped drive local and national attention to the Department of Homeland Security’s plans to massively scale up their detention capacity.

Billboards, like the one above, help expose ICE’s planned concentration camps and direct folks to meaningful actions they can take to oppose them and connect with local immigrant defense organizers who are leading this work.
We were able to launch these billboards thanks to the support of grassroots donors. Now, we need your help to keep them up. The more we raise today, the longer we can run them and potentially add even more locations. If you’re able to, please donate today to help fund these billboards and all of our grassroots organizing to resist Trump’s mass detention agenda.

The warehouses are a moral abomination. They’re also massively unpopular in every community where they’ve been proposed. That’s why activists have already succeeded in stopping the construction of more than a dozen detention warehouses. The opposition has been strong even in deep red, rural areas -- so strong that even some Republican senators have spoken out against them.
The key to stopping them is sustained local organizing. Our billboards go hand-in-hand with the other grassroots tactics we’re deploying to oppose these plans. That includes training Indivisibles to help lead immigrant defense organizing, sharing tactics and resources for locating and opposing planned detention sites, and driving opposition in Congress to the GOP funding bill that would give ICE billions more dollars to expand their detention capacity.
We need a wide range of tools to defeat Trump’s mass detention agenda, but none of this work is possible without grassroots donors pitching in what they can. If you can spare a few dollars today, please donate to keep our billboards running and help fund all of our organizing work.
And whether or not you’re able to donate today, there’s a role for you to play in this fight. Check our dismantling detention resource page to learn how you can get plugged in to this work.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
