Indivisible is launching Immigrant Justice Summer on July 9! Sign up for our first virtual training call to grow your immigrant defense organizing skills and fight Trump’s mass deportation machine.

Indivisibles,

Over the past year and a half, we’ve seen ICE surges tearing through our communities from LA to the Twin Cities, and Chicago to Charlotte. We’ve also seen DHS trying to convert warehouses into concentration camps in Arizona and Maryland, and rampant human rights abuses in existing detention centers like Delaney Hall.

In each case, Indivisibles have stepped up to defend their communities, take care of their neighbors, and even score some major victories:

New York Times headline that reads 'ICE Spent $700 million dollars on 7 warehouses. Now it wants to get rid of them'

But the fight isn’t over. The Trump regime continues to threaten our communities, and they’ve given ICE and Border Patrol another $70 billion to turbocharge their mass deportation plans. Each of us will have a role to play in defending our communities, and the better prepared we are, the better we can protect our neighbors.

That’s why we’re launching Immigrant Justice Summer, a five-call national training series that will level up your organizing and give you the tools you need to show up for immigrant justice. You’ll learn practical skills from Indivisible’s new Associate Director of Immigrant Defense Organizing and hear from Indivisible group leaders who have been on the frontlines responding to ICE surges and opposing ICE detention centers.

The first call is on July 9. Sign up today, invite a friend, and get ready to level up your organizing skills this summer.

Over the course of five training calls, you’ll get aligned with the organizations already leading the response in your community, build a concrete plan for your role, and grow your circle of neighbors ready to act. We’ll cover:

📝 How to get started: We’ll give you a concrete three-step blueprint for mounting a safe, hyper-local, immigrant-aligned response to ICE surges in your community -- including peaceful actions you can take immediately after the first training call.

📢 How to plug into existing organizing work: We’ll show you how you can identify who is already organizing immigrant defense work in your community, what they are working on, and where the gaps are in your local organizing ecosystem.

📋 Finding your role in rapid response: You’ll learn the different components of a rapid response -- the coordinated set of actions your community takes in real time when ICE is active, and what it looks like to show up with a plan.

➡️ How to direct resources where they’re needed most: When an ICE surge hits, community support floods in from every direction. Learn how to channel that energy and direct new people, information, training, and mutual aid resources directly to where they’re needed most.

📲 Using Signal for secure communication: A rapid response plan means nothing if your communication infrastructure isn’t already in place. We’ll cover how to use Signal to build the secure, layered communication structure your community needs to respond fast when it matters most.

Whether you’ve joined our Eyes on ICE trainings in the past, or you have no prior organizing experience, this training series is for you. You’ll walk away with new skills and be equipped to mount a safe, hyper-local, immigrant-aligned response when ICE comes to your community. Join us for Immigrant Justice Summer and sign up for the first training call on July 9!
