Indivisible

Indivisibles,

We’re a month out from Election Day and in many states, voting has already begun. You know the stakes of this election -- what losing would mean for our democracy. What winning would mean for working families. What control of the Senate will mean for the next Supreme Court vacancy (or vacancies).

Everything we do over the next 31 days is consequential. Every call made. Every door knocked.

So today, we’re asking you to help make the difference by signing up for a volunteer shift -- whether it's your first of the election cycle, or your 100th.

And if you want to keep on getting digests of volunteer opportunities exactly like this one each week until Election Day you can sign up for those, too -- right here.

If you’re new to making calls or would just like a refresher, you can join our team TODAY for a phone bank training at 3pm ET/12pm PT. Otherwise, let’s jump right in!

Colorado

In Colorado, we’re ready to get out the vote for Jessica Killin (CO-05) and Manny Rutinel (CO-08). We have a real chance to unseat two of Trump’s yes-men, Jeff Crank and Gabe Evans, in our fight to secure Democratic majorities in the House. One of Trump’s super PACs is already funneling cash to defend both incumbents, and a recent poll shows Rutinel and Evans statistically tied. Ballots have already started to be mailed to voters, so this is a crucial time to pick up the phone and get involved.

Join our Indivisible phone bank for Jessica Killin and Manny Rutinel on Tuesday, October 6 at 7:30pm ET/5:30pm MT/4:30pm PT.

New Jersey

In New Jersey, we’re organizing to win for Zack Mullock (NJ-02) and Rebecca Bennett (NJ-07). We can unseat two Trump loyalists in the Garden State, including Jeff Van Drew, who pledged his “undying support” for Trump once he switched his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican after Trump’s 2019 impeachment proceedings. Mullock and Bennett will serve their constituents, not corporations or special interests, to deliver real affordability and accountability. You can help flip these districts and take us two seats closer to winning back the House.

Join our Indivisible phone bank for Zack Mullock and Rebecca Bennett on Thursday, October 8 at 5:30pm ET/2:30pm PT.

California

In California, we’re getting out the vote for Indivisible-endorsed candidates Dr. Aisha Wahab (CA-14) and Randy Villegas (CA-22). Wahab and Villegas both overcame corporate-backed Dems in special election and primary wins that shocked the establishment. In CA-14, we have an opportunity to keep Dr. Wahab in Congress for a full term and reject the special interests that are funding her opponent. Then, in CA-22, we can replace a Republican rep who simply rubberstamps Trump’s agenda with a real champion for working families. Early voting will be underway in California by the time we call voters, so your outreach will make a real difference.

Join our Indivisible phone bank for Dr. Aisha Wahab and Randy Villegas on Tuesday, October 13 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT.

Maine

In Maine, we’re working to elect Troy Jackson (ME-Sen) and Matt Dunlap (ME-02). After five terms in the Senate, we have our best opportunity yet to replace Susan Collins, who has betrayed her constituents time and time again with votes to confirm Brett Kavanaugh and gut health care (and that’s just the tip of the iceberg). Then, in ME-02, it’s time to retire former Maine Gov. Paul LePage to his Florida residence for good and usher in new leadership that serves working families, not billionaires. Help us get out the vote in Maine!

Join our next Indivisible phone bank for Troy Jackson and Matt Dunlap on Wednesday, October 14 at 5:30pm ET/2:30pm PT.

Neighbor2Neighbor

We’ve highlighted Colorado, New Jersey, California, and Maine above because of their upcoming phone banks, but our Neighbor2Neighbor canvassing tool is available NOW across all of Indivisible’s 9 target Senate states and 31 House districts.

Door-to-door canvassing using our Neighbor2Neighbor program is the most effective method of increasing voter participation. Instead of more traditional canvassing programs where you’re told to download a confusing app and given a long list of strangers’ addresses, Neighbor2Neighbor empowers you to have face-to-face conversations about the importance of voting right in your own neighborhood.

If you’re ready to get started, check to see if Neighbor2Neighbor is available in your area. Once you sign up, we’ll send you a list of 10 of your neighbors to chat with, a simple script, tips for best practices, and a printable handout. That’s it!
